Albert W. Peterman's Obituary
Albert W. Peterman passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of Emma Jane Pharis Peterman. Loving father of Jane Herman and Beth Bardwell (husband Keith). Son of the late Mary Vanderlick and Louis Peterman. Brother of Alice Matthews, Elaine Squyres, Ruth Blanchard and the late Henry Louis Peterman, Edward Ernest Peterman and Richard Peterman. Grandfather of Jarvis Bardwell (wife Rebecca), Rona Helen Herman Hereford (husband Daniel) and Von Ehren Herman (wife Amanda). Also survived by five great-grandchildren.
He retired from Bellsouth Telephone Co. as a system engineer and served in the U.S. Army. He was an active member of New Zion Baptist Church, Telephone Pioneers and the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM at New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Church Rd., Covington, LA 70435 with visitation at church beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
