Dear Aunt Emma, cousins Beth, Jane, and all the extended family: My heartfelt sympathies are sent in the passing of my Uncle Albert, your beloved husband and father. Every time I visited with him, I remember he was generous with his time, we enjoyed long and detailed discussions (he was brilliant), he always had a hug and a smile for me. He reminded me of my father, his brother, Ed Peterman in the serious way he would ponder putting together or taking apart something and talking with his hands. As a child, I was fascinated by the many clocks he'd built (still am); as an adult I enjoyed his tours of the area and recall one of the levy and not so long before Katrina saying that sometimes the water was rushing so hard and high that he figured some day it would break; our last visit with many of you eating po-boys at Mother's Restaurant in NOLA. He and the brothers are together now. We will miss them until all together again. God bless you all.

Dear Emma,
Steve and I are so sorry for your loss. Al was a wonderful friend and contributing member of the clock club. I am remembering the pride he felt when showing us around his shop. He will be truly missed! May God hold you especially close throughout this difficult time and in the days ahead.
Dearest Aunt Emma Jane, Beth and Janie, I am thinking of you and loving you. I won't be able to attend the funeral, but I will be there in spirit. Uncle Albert, to me, was always so kind and sweet. I always looked forward to seeing him on the holidays when I was a little girl. I always thought his smile lit up the room. I will always have fond memories of him.
I love you all,
Vicky Pharis Praet
