Agatha "Mickey" Eagan Wakeley's Obituary
Agatha "Mickey" Eagan Wakeley passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016. She was born on Sunday, December 1, 1940 in New Orleans, LA to Edna Marie Hackney and Lawrence A. Eagan and has been a resident of Bedico, LA since 1996. For nearly 20 years Mickey managed the Cleaning Depot on Highway 22 in Madisonville. She sincerely loved her clients and going to work everyday. She was fortunate enough to work up until the day before her passing. She will be dearly missed.
The beloved wife of James Carlson Wakeley, she is survived by three daughters - Holly W. Kattengell (David), Shawn W. Hood (Tommy) and Stacey W. Chung (Wayne); her sister - Colleen Gangolf; one brother - Lawrence "Larry" Eagan, Jr.; and seven grandchild - Jennifer Bell, Amanda Kattengell, Benjamin Quinnelly, Micheal Kattengell, Courtney Kattengell, Cydney Chung and Cadin Chung. Her parents preceded her in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Tuesday will begin at 9:30 AM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA will immediately follow services.
