Yvonne Robertson Raley's Obituary
Yvonne Robertson Raley passed away on December 20, 2017 in Covington, LA. She was born on July 25, 1929 in Lake Charles, LA to the late Robert Bruce Robertson and Rita LeBlanc Robertson.
Yvonne was married to her beloved husband, the late James Wilson Raley, for 65 years. She was the loving mother of sons: Robert J. Raley of Folsom, LA; Steve A. Raley (Karen) of Destrehan, LA; James W. Raley, Jr. (Kelly) of Metairie, LA; William B. Raley (Missy) of Kingwood, TX; and daughters: Carol R. Meyer (Danny) of Abita Springs, LA; Beth R. Boyle (Doug) of Metairie, LA. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 1 step-grandson, 1 great grandchild, and 3 step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 grandchild. Yvonne was the sister of Rosalie R. Keller of San Bernadino, CA; Connie R. Irving of Lake Charles, LA; R. Gordon Robertson of Naples, FL; the late Joyce R. Strozier, and Eileen R. Barremore.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM. A Wake will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation on Thursday will be from 9:00 AM until Mass time. Interment will follow the Mass at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Yvonne R. Raley to a charity of your choice.
