Yolande Marie Melancon Bolline's Obituary
Yolande Marie Melancon Bolline passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Bolline. Daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Claude Melancon of St. James, LA; Loving mother of Lawrence (Cheryl) Bolline II of Covington, LA and Dr. Stephen (Kathy) Bolline of Waco, TX. Yolande had four grandchildren, Melissa, Stephen, Kenneth and Amy. She had three great-grandchildren, twins Adam and Andrew and Ally. Yolande was the sister of Elizabeth Haydel of Donaldsonville, Gerald of St. James, Corinne Bouquet of White Castle, Mildred Lands of Covington, and the late Claude, Raymond, James, Edward, Roy, Lucille, Gertrude and Eugene. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Yolande was a native of St. James, LA, former resident of Chalmette, LA and a resident of Covington since 2005.
Yolande was a devoted spouse, a caring and loving mother, and a skilled registered nurse.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mrs. Bolline to be made to any Alzheimers related research program. E.J.
