Yolanda Silvan Nixon passed away on Saturday May 1, 2021 at the age of 58. Beloved wife of Mitchell Charles Nixon, Sr. for thirty five years. Loving mother to Mitchell Charles Nixon, Jr., Kyra Chante Nixon, Myaisha Marie Nixon and Trevor Benjamin Nixon (Destanie). Beloved grandmother to Gabriel Charles-Benjamin Nixon, Dominic Benjamin Nixon, Harmonii Kehlani Nixon and Kaii Marie Nixon. Loving sister to Lenny M. Silvan and Charles J. Silvan (Laurie).
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Bethel Reform Methodist Church, 206 W. 29th Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on
Saturday May 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Saturday beginning 9:30 AM. Interment will be held at Abita Springs Cemetery.
