Yolanda Montez Bourgeois' Obituary
Yolanda Montez Bourgeois passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 74. She was born on August 30, 1947 in San Antonio, TX to Joe Montez Jr. and Beatrice Hernandez Montez.
Yolanda was the beloved wife of Royal Joseph Bourgeois of 51 years. She was the loving mother of Albert J. Bourgeois, Pamela M. Bourgeois, Jeremiah S. Bourgeois (Lauren), Angelle B. Bader (Scott), Veronica B. Reno (Jacob), and Joshua J. Bourgeois. She was the proud grandmother of Joshua Brumfield, Isabella Bourgeois, Scott Bader Jr., Jayce Reno, Justus Reno and Jenesis Reno. She was the sister of Joe Montez, Rosemary Montez, Rudy Montez, Diana Montez and Arnold Montez.
Yolanda is preceded in death by her parents; her grandchildren, Jaden Reno, Kloe Reno, Jaxon Reno and Gabrielle Bourgeois; and her brother, Ricky Montez.
Yolanda loved God, church, her family, as well as those she met along her journey through life. She found joy in giving and blessing others. In addition to blessing others, she helped and served her church in any way she could help.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Bogue Falaya Cemetery, 14278 Louisiana Hwy 1077, Folsom, LA 70437.
