Winnie was a wonderful next door condo neighbor for over 10 years. She always had a beautiful smile and positive attitude. Several neighbors had dinner on Wednesdays at Beau Chene CC. I lost track of Winnie after the storm. My prayers are with her.
Johnny, Penny, Michael, Anne & Family,
Aunt Winnie & Uncle Fel are together again and I know that they are both smiling down together from heaven.
Your mom was a joy to be around and she leaves us with so many wonderful memories. She nicknamed me T-Tony and I'll have that forever in my heart.
My deepest sympathy and love to you all and all the family.
I'm sorry that I cannot be there in person.
Clay Cosse ( T-Tony )
I share your sense of loss over Winnie, and regret my inability to attend her funeral. I remember her chiefly as such a gracious hostess at the many Ellington Christmas gatherings I enjoyed during my years in graduate school. What wonderful family events those were, due largely to her orchestrations! And who couldn’t smile at the memory of her stories?
We can all be consoled by the long, full life she led, and the joy she must have derived from the love and success that characterize the whole Ellington clan. Please accept my deep sympathy.

My condolences to the family. I remember her warm hospitality when I visited with Uncle Clay and Aunt Cathy.
Have comfort remembering the happy times with her.
I have so many wonderful memories of times spent visiting with Aunt Winnie and Uncle Felix throughout my childhood. Her smile and laughter always contagious. My heart hurts to hear of her passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all.
Dear Penny and the entire Daigle Family,
