Winifred Buras Willie's Obituary
Winifred Buras Willie passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born on December 16, 1933 in Boothville, LA to John Buras and Alice Bubrig Buras.
She is survived by her son, Bernie Willie (Beth); daughters, Bonnie Massey (Richard) and Judy White (Tim); sisters, Nathalie Willie, Marie Weaver and Vickie Martin; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Willie; parents; daughter, Wendy Morgan; brothers, Wilfred Buras and Myles Buras; sisters, Fay Judd and Muriel Bufkin; granddaughter, Jennifer Smith; and two great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington LA on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service in Wilson-Willie Cemetery, Wilson Willie Cemetery Road, Folsom, LA.
