Wilmer Richard Rodberg passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008. Beloved husband of Joyce Rodberg. Father of Karen Lee Bowden and spouse Richard, Debbie Lee Tait and spouse Terry, John Victor Rodberg and the late William “Billy” Rodberg. Step-father of Judy Kuhn and Sandy Legnon and spouse Michael. Grandfather of Meschelle Kuhn, Alicia Ryan Legnon and Stephen Joseph Legnon. Brother of Olive Nelson of Redlands, CA and the late Opal Kolaskey. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He served his country in WWII in the US Navy. Aged 82 years, a native of Mishakawa, IN and a resident of Slidell, LA for the past 29 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 2:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday from 12:00 PM until service time. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society for Leukemia research.
