Willie Lois Hicks Knight's Obituary
Willie Lois Hicks Knight passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the age of 84. She was born, Wednesday, December 07, 1932 in Chattanooga, TN to Newman E. Hicks and Dovie (Swaggerty) Hicks.
She is survived by her four children John Daniel Coyne (Glenda), Jack Earl Coyne (Kathryn), Jane Frances Coyne Revere (Roger), and James Newton Coyne (Carol); her twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Dean Hicks and two sisters Doris Fandel and Vonnie Gray.
Willie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence “August” Knight, her parents, two sisters Shirley Toney and Wanda Hughes, and one brother Kinny Hicks.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM with visitation on Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery Covington, LA.
