Steve Lowe
I know this condolence is extremely late in coming, but I just now saw this Obit. My name is Steve Lowe. I don't know for certain, because there are no pictures of Bill, but I'm almost certain that Bill and I were stationed together. This would have been from 1967-1969, at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson AZ. We were assigned to the 390th Missle Squadron, and we worked in the same shop together. We became best of friends. In fact, in May of 1969, when I got orders for Vietnam Nam, Wilie D, as I called him, told me that he would go for me...and I had no doubt that we would have. My wife and I had just had out first child, and Wille was willing to take my place. Of course the Air Force wouldn't allow it, so I left Davis Monthan, an my BFF Wille D, in Sept of 1969.
