Willie Milton Achee's Obituary
Willie Milton Achee, on Thursday, April 6, 2006. Beloved husband of Muriel M. Connaughton Achee. Father of Gary W., Greg K. Achee, Linda Harris and Adrianne Delesdernair. Brother of Myrtle Leveson, Bertha Hebert and the late Hilda Roderguiz, Lillian Culbertson, Lydia Harvey, Harry, Henry, Ronald and Morris Achee. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Aged 80 years, a native of Blond, LA and a resident of Abita Springs, LA for 44 years. Mr. Achee was a veteran of The United States Navy Armed Guard serving during World War II, and was a member of both the American Legion and V.F.W. He was also a member of The Abita Men’s Club. Mr. Achee served on The Abita Springs Town Council and was Abita Springs Mayor Pro-Temp. He retired from Air Products and Chemicals Co. Mr. Achee was a respected employee of The St. Tammany Parish Sheriffs Office; and Cofounder of the 4th Ward Recreational Department. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment in Abita Springs Cemetery.
