William J. Walsh, Jr.'s Obituary
William J. Walsh of Mandeville, LA died Saturday, July 28, 2007.
He is survived by his friend and former wife, Faye Baird. Brother of John Walsh of Tewksbury, MA and Barbara Hogan of Brewster, MA. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Bill had a great sense of humor and delighted in making people smile. He had a great laugh and wasn’t afraid to use it. Bill was an avid sports fan. He loved the Saints, Red Sox and any team who beat the Yankees. Previous to his retirement, which he enjoyed, he had several occupations involving planes, trains and automobiles, ships and people. Bill had recently discovered the internet and used it as a tool to reconnect with old friends.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
