William Allen Pusateri's Obituary
William “Bill” Allen Pusateri passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009.
Beloved son of Kathryn Heintz Pusateri of Mandeville and Dr. William M. Pusateri of Gulfport, MS. He will be deeply missed by his sister Kathryn A. Pusateri of New Orleans and his brother Michael A. Pusateri of Baton Rouge, his sister-in-law Shannon Pusateri, nephew A.J. Pusateri and niece Amanda Pusateri. He is also survived by his stepmother, Colleen J. Pusateri and stepbrother Patrick Cazaubon. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Philip J. Pusateri of New Orleans and the late Mr. and Mrs. C. Everett Heintz of Covington.
A native of New Orleans and a resident of Covington, he was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and a past member of the U.S. Army where he was stationed at Ft. Benning, Georgia. He was also a past member of the U.S. Army National Guard, 205th Engineering Battalion in Franklinton. He proudly served his country in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at the E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Interment will be in Garden District Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) or the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
