William Ray Meredith III's Obituary
William “Chilly” Ray Meredith, III of Mandeville, LA passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017. He was born on November 12, 1997 in Covington, LA to William Ray Meredith, Jr. and Cheryl Bourgeois Meredith.
William is survived by his parents; his two sisters Stephanie Nicole LeBlanc (Stephen) and Brandy Lea Meredith; his paternal grandmother Peggy Ann Weaver; his maternal grandparents Roger Elliott Bourgeois, Catherine Louise and Michael “Paw Paw Mike” Hall; his great-grandmother Catherine Louise Bono; and his godparents Sandra “Nanny” Dixon O’Meara and Michael J. Meredith. He is also survived by his aunts Lorie Bourgeois (Brian), Elizabeth Arauz (Denis), Peggy Ann Buras (Leroy), Dorothy O’Keefe, Billie Elizabeth Morgan; and his uncle Walter John Harrington (Cheryl). William is also survived by George, his beloved puppies Taz and Sadie, numerous cousins, a host of great-aunts and great-uncles and his friends, which he considered all to be family, who will miss him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his Grandma Denton, Aunt Connie, Uncle Charles, Aunt Dot, Challen, Charles John, and Terral, Jr..
William grew up on Green Street in Mandeville, LA and graduated from Fountainbleau High in 2017. He enjoyed the outdoors, muddin’, fishin’, huntin’, bon fires, and spending time with his family and friends. He fearlessly sought adventure and was the life of every get together. William was a kind soul whose smile could brighten even the darkest room.
Visitation will be held at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday beginning at 3:00 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 6:00 PM.
