William C. Larsen's Obituary
William Charles Larsen passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 2, 2017 surrounded by his family, at Deceased's Residence in Mandeville, LA. He was born in New Orleans on Thursday, January 11, 1945 to Beulah Mae Rolfes and Lester Linus Larsen and was a resident of Mandeville since 1999. Mr. Larsen served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from Winn-Dixie's Dairy Plant in Hammond, LA after 35 years of loyal service.
The beloved husband of Paula Bordelon Larsen, he is survived by two daughters - Nickie Larsen Michel (Don) and Stacey Larsen Becnel (Glenn); five grandchildren - Connor, Zachary, Caroline, Mallory and Benjamin; nephew and great niece - Terry Hymel and Ella Hymel; two sisters - Eileen L. Borgstede and Margaret L. Pertuit; and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother - Lester L. Larsen, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 2:30 PM on Friday, October 6, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Friday will begin at 12:30 PM.
Interment at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens adjacent to the funeral home will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
