William V. Hewson, Jr.'s Obituary
William V. "Billy" Hewson, Jr. passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 in Covington, LA. He was born, Sunday, November 17, 1929 in New Orleans, LA to William V., Sr. and Ernestine Lodwick Hewson and was a resident of Covington, LA since 1980.
The beloved husband of the late Geraldine Standige Hewson, he is survived by his son - Gregory W. Hewson; daughter-in-law - Nita Walker Hewson and one grandson - Jacob Walker Hewson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister - Althea "Tay" Hewson Lemons Stire. He will be greatly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 12:00 Noon on Monday, January 06, 2014 at St. Jane de Chantal Church, 72040 Maple St. Abita Springs, LA 704 20.
Visiting hours at the Church on Monday will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment at the Abita Springs Cemetery will immediately follow mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's School, 917 S. Jahncke St. Covington, LA 70433.
