William M. Gereighty's Obituary
William “Bill” M. Gereighty, Jr. passed away on May 21, 2014, in Galveston County, TX at the age of 45. He was born on April 18, 1969 in New Orleans, LA to William M. Gereighty, Sr. and Rose Marie Macaluso Buerger.
Bill is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Alleman Gereighty and was a devoted father to his 3 children, Jessica Gereighty, Madelyn Gereighty, and Christopher Gereighty. He will be dearly missed by his granddaughter, Cailey Williams. He was the brother of Cynthia Pickens (Sam). Bill is also survived by his step-father, Harry Buerger.
Bill was a professional in the oil and gas industry. He served as a member of the United States Coast Guard. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger, was always the life of the party and will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Liturgy of the Word on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be held privately.
