My condolences to the entire family. I always enjoyed my conversations with Bill. I had
an enormous amount of respect for him as an attorney and as a man. Lucien H. Farmer
Nashville, TN.
I met Big Bill when I was twenty-five. I was the chief investigator for the 22nd DA's office. I was a boy. Bill taught me to be a man. I love you Bill. I wish we had had more time together. I am now 63. See you soon. Detective Michael L. Varnado
I knew him when I was a reporter in st. Tammany parish decades ago. He was always accessible and a good person to deal with. I remember that from his office all you could see was a garbage dumpster.
To the Entire Alford Family,
I hope the love and support from your loved ones bring you peace during this difficult time. My heartfelt sympathies to you.
Love, Nikki Smith Pilie
