William "Billy" Adam's Obituary
William M. Adam, at the age of 71, entered eternal rest peacefully on Sunday morning, October 2, 2022, at Forest Manor Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 17, 1951, to Raymond William Adam and Abbie Ann Cathcart Adam.
William affectionally known as “Billy” is survived by his loving sister Abbie Adam Maldini(Robert) of Mandeville, and his brother Randy Adam(Vicki) of Madisonville. Billy was the proud uncle of Cori, Rebekah, Christopher, Ashley, and devoted great uncle of Presli, Benjamin, Jayce, Ellie, Millie, Mimi, and Allie. He is also survived by a host of wonderful lifelong friends.
Billy was preceded in death by his loving parents Raymond and Abbie Adam.
A native of New Orleans, and proud resident of Madisonville for over 71 years, Billy was an exceptional man, who truly enjoyed his professional career as chef in the Maritime industry. He was well respected and successful chef with all the river pilots.
Billy was loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family and friends. Billy was unique and irreplaceable and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memoires of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM. Interment will follow immediately after visitation in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
