I was so saddened to hear that Wiley is gone. I enjoyed you and he as neighbors in Kenner, and I know my parents loved you both. Wiley will be missed, he was truly one of a kind! A good man. Our prayers are with you both.

In the short time I have known Wiley and Maureen, I have come to appreciate Wiley as a gracious host, and gourmet chef. My brief visits, while traveling with Steve, have created lasting memories, including a dove hunt, my first crawfish boil, and cocktail afternoons watching the squirrels and wood ducks, while solving the world's problems. Dear Maureen, Lee and I were just talking agout Wiley and you this past weekend and are so sorry to see that he passed away. Lee is out of town, so we'll call you soon after he returns tomorrow. I am sorry to read of Wiley's passing. He was truly a special man and I know you will greatly miss him.
Some of my fondest memories of him are the many times he prepared something truly special for the annual Fourth of July party at my parents' home on Treasure Isle. Not only was the food memorable, but the fellowship we all shared with you and Wiley made it extra special.

Maureen, sorry to hear about Wiley's passing. What a guy he was, truly one of a kind. As you know we shared many, many laughs together. He was kind, deeply passionate and knowledgeable about his craft, always willing to help, and was quick to wit. I learned so much from him. I can still hear his voice. I'm so glad I knew him and will always remember him. (I still have and use his original Weber grill that the gave me.) God Bless.

I would like to offer my condolences to Mr. Wiley's family. I'm happy that we got to see him last June at my daughter's wedding. Ms. Maureen and Steve, we love you and are here for you if you need us.
