Wilda Fussell Jenkins' Obituary
Wilda Lorraine Fussell Jenkins passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 surrounded by her family at home in Bush, LA. She was born on July 14, 1938 in New Orleans, LA to the late Gordon Fussell and Hilda Perry Fussell.
Wilda was married to her beloved husband, the late Enos A. Jenkins, for 54 years and together they had four sons, Enos R. “Randy” Jenkins (Donnell), Perry W. Jenkins (Debra), Wendell R. Jenkins (Sheila), and Michael S. Jenkins (Kelle). She was the loving grandmother of Kathryn and Matthew Jenkins, Brandon (Mallory), Dustin (Meagan), and Nicolas Jenkins, Megan and Samuel Jenkins, and Emily, Abigail, and Christopher Jenkins and proud great-grandmother of Mariah, Isaac, and Lottie. Wilda was the sister of the late Reuben L. Fussell.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Church Rd., Covington, LA 70435 on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00 PM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Galloway Cemetery, Bush, LA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the name of Wilda F. Jenkins to the New Zion Lunch Ministry, (985) 892-4711.
