My husband's mother, Julia Smith Colwart, was Wilda Mae's aunt. Angeline (Wilda Mae's mother) & Julia were sisters. Julia passed away July 18, 1996. She was 85. I hope I have put down all this information correctly, my husband says that it's right.

MI MI, I feel extremely honored to call you my GRANDMOTHER. I have many fond memories as a child. Lots of visits with Popie in Gramercy. My favorite times were Mother's Day barbaques on Focis Street swimming and your homemade Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream! Your cooking was the best especially your Dirty Rice! I had the best prom dresses because you made them. Also my wedding dress made me feel so special and beautiful on my wedding day beacuse you made it! I wouldn't have had it any other way. Todd and the boys love you very much and will miss you greatly! I,Todd will never forget the time Shannon and I went by your house on Focis right before Christmas over 16 years ago. we noticed you did not have a X-Mas tree. I looked at Shannon and told you we will would be right back. We went to the nearest X-Mas tree lot and picked up a tree. I will never forget the look on your face!(It was priceless)!
