Wilbert Henry Reisig, Jr.'s Obituary
Wilbert Henry Reisig, Jr. passed away peacefully of Parkinson’s Disease complications on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at age 76.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Barbara Stevens Reisig. Loving father of Jan Reisig Dimitry (and husband Ronald) and Steven Ray Reisig. Son of the late Norma Klein Reisig and Wilbert Henry Reisig. Grandfather of Clayton Ray Reisig and Preston Barrett Reisig. Brother of Marilyn Henneberg and Janet Henneberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Reisig was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville for the past twenty years where he was the owner and founder of Reisig Construction Company. As a homebuilder and developer, he won many awards for construction excellence and design. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and served in the Korean War.
The family would like to express their Thanks and gratitude to the Guest House of Slidell and Hospice Compassus.
Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial services at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 2480 Hwy 190 East, Mandeville, LA 70448 on Thursday, December 22, 2011at 2:00 PM with visitation at church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Reisig be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association or Hosanna Lutheran Church.
