Wayne Ried Simkin's Obituary
Wayne Ried Simkin passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at his home in Covington, LA. He was born on Friday, August 7, 1953 in Memphis, TN to Loretta Faye Barnes and Joseph David Simkin and was a resident of Covington for most of his life. A Professional Land Surveyor, Wayne owned and operated D and S Land Surveyors of Covington since 1995.
The beloved husband of Gretchen Stanga Simkin, he is survived by two children - Adam and Casey Simkin; two grandchildren - Evyn and Kathan Ross; one sister and one brother. His parents precede him in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services from 1:00-2:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Interment will be private and take place at a later date.
