It’s been a long time, I miss you dad.
I'm so sorry for you and your familys' loss. You know, I can't picture Wayne without that big grin. Really. Every time I'd run across him his face would break into that Wayne smile that was so infectious. Wayne and I weren't that close. I mean, we were friendly but not close friends. And as family you should know how the rest of the world saw him. He was a well liked man that made the people around him feel happy just to run into him. The world is a little colder today. We're all so sorry.
Ruth, We want to express our sympathy to you and your family. The Seeses sent me a note about Wayne. I did not know him from school, but our prayers will be for him and all of you. We are now living near Cindy in Oregon but news about old friends always touches us. Take care and God Bless.

To all the Fontenelle family, my deepest condolences. Wayne and I played rugby together at LSU. I'll never forget his humor, laugh, smile and his compassionate nature.
Kate, we are so sorry to learn of Wayne's passing. Our prayers are with you, the girls and the family. Sincerely, Monique from Section "B"
I knew Wayne from his Rugby days--seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago. Wayne's death will affect everyone who knew him, each in a deeply personal way. The one universal is how he was viewed during his life - the sum of those memory fragments - glimpses of high jinks, spectacular feats of athleticism or buffoonery, a steadying hand adding balance to life's turbulent moments. He was friend in all types of weather and those who counted on his friendship were never disappointed. We were graced.
Big Wayne- Dave Capasso here- Brother Wayne- you were the man ! You will always be there for me -always brother . what words can I say about the impact you have had on my life and so many lives?
you were always enjoying rooting for LSU and celebrating in New Orleans with your brothers -I never had a brother- and Wayne- there is no doubt that you were the closest I have ever had to a big brother. Thank you Wayne. I remember You thanking your stars and - in a rare moment -you yes- you actually thanked God Almighty for how much your loving wife Kate loved you- and that she wanted to marry an "old ugly guy' like you?! Ah she did - and those girls came along Chloe and Clare-and they had your eye!! I think you loved them ten times more than life itself-
YES! - and we all say amen-to the life of Wayne Fontenelle -huge HUGE shoes to fill . But if I can be half the lawyer and father of WF- I would have taken Wayne's advise- always be there for your family -amen.
Love
Tracy David Gabriel Luke Helms- Capasso
