Was so sorry to hear about Wayne's passing, he was my husband's first manager in the Engineering Industry and we've always kept Wayne in a special place in our hearts, he will be truly missed. We give Our deepest sympathy to the Blum family for their loss
Wayne was my boss for nearly 12 years. But, he was also so much more than that. In some ways he was like a second father to me in that he demonstrated the value of kindness and cheer toward others. He also helped shape my career by teaching me to put passion, pride, and care into my work. He always wanted me to improve, and he took notice when I did. He was, and still is, a major figure in my life. I owe him so much, and I continue to strive toward the examples he set for me.
He loved his family, and I heard so many wonderful stories about his childhood, his parents, his siblings, and, of course, his beloved son. My heart goes out to all those he left behind. He is dearly missed... but also reverently celebrated. May we all try and live up to his examples of hard work and kindness.

I remember Wayne's whit, sense of humor, and his 'over the top' laugh, which could probably be heard from the house next door.
Most of all, I remember that he always treated me with respect when I didn't deserve it; a testament to his good heart and compassion. I had always looked up to Wayne, and having very few good male role models when I was a teen growing up in the '70's, I can honestly say that he was without a doubt, setting positive examples. I am a better man now for having known Wayne Peter Blum.

I've known Wayne since I was a young girl. He was like a big brother, always showed great kindness to me and to others by example and was always willing to roll up his sleeves and lend a hand. But what I recall most fondly was his infectious laugh and that's how I will keep Wayne's memory.
He will be missed and I am deeply saddened, but I also know that Wayne is bound now for greater things and I hope that this can somehow provide a bit of comfort to his family and all who knew him.
I had the pleasure to know Wayne and he was one of my best friends, and my work partner for so many years. What a wonderful person he was: I could write pages and pages of memories and stories, but anyone who knew Wayne, knows that he was a person who always did good, who always helped everyone, who was always there if you needed him. He had the utmost integrity and honesty and always did the right thing. I will really miss him.
Sharing so many memories with him, each and every day at the office, Saints' games, etc.
