Waymel O'Keefe Koepp's Obituary
Mrs. Waymel O’Keefe Koepp passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2024 in Covington, LA. She was 91. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Loerch, her husband, Floyd Koepp, Sr., her parents, Clarence O’Keefe and Josie Fussell O’Keefe and her siblings, Mildred Perrilloux, Eugene O’Keefe, and Gary “Sonny” O’Keefe. She is survived by her son, Floyd Koepp, Jr., and her daughters, Cynthia Morgan (Randy) and Terren Culbertson (Jerome) and her grandchildren, Christy Cornet, Billy Morgan, Chad Culbertson, Eric Loerch, Anna Grace Koepp, Halle Koepp, and her great grandson Colin Culbertson.
She was born in Bogalusa, LA and was a longtime resident of Covington, LA. She owned Family Casuals in downtown Covington and later, after closing the store, worked for many years in the medical records department of St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and maintaining the flower garden outside her home in Covington. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum.
