We send our prayers and thoughts of comfort to all of Uncle Dick's family. He will live with us through our charished memories of being together - Stan, with life-long treasured family time together, and Dianne, for the brief occasions she was able to be with him and enjoy his spark of bright life that he brought to any gathering.
We hold closely to our hearts his demonstration of deep family values and deep life values showing respect and caring to all people he met.
Bless you all, in attendance Friday, celebrating his life and his impact on all of us, family and friends alike. We here, in Troy, will stop mid-day tomorrow and offer prayerful thanks to God for Uncle Dick's presence among us.
Dear Judy, Don, Jeanie, Hank, and I would like to send our sincerest condolences on the death of your beloved father. I know the Lord will fill your heart with many happy memories. Ellen Schiro
Donna,
Your father was respected by all who met him. We have fond memories of our visits to various restaurants in New Orleans and in Charlotte. Thank you for sharing your father's time with us, and please take good care of yourself.
Jon
Dear Donna, I am so sorry your dear loving Dad and friend has passed. My prayers and love are with you.
Dear Donna, I am happy that I was honored to visit with you and your father on the several occasions when he came to Charlotte. I shall remember him as the charming, distinguished and hansom gentleman who made those dinner parties so delightful.
What a strong role model he has been and will continue to remain for your family.
My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family for some time, but will be especially focused on Friday morning.
To all of my family,Dick Apgar was a remarkable and most interesting gentleman and his wife, Leah Mae, was always a very generous and caring lady. Our friendship with the Apgar family for many years has left me with fond memories in my nineth year.
Please accept my regrets, as I am not able to join you, Donna and Judy, your families and many friends for the service for Dick. I will be thinking about all of you with sincere and loving concern. Fondest love,Lib Neilson
My Dear Judy, I remember your father as a happy, generous man, who was always glad to see his daughter's friends. I am so sorry to read of his death. I hope you are well. I miss seeing you. Love, Renee
Dear Donna and Judy
I am so sad your wonderful Daddy is gone. He was always so warm and friendly. My prayers are with you both. Betsy
Judy and family-- I had hoped to be able to offer my condolences in person, but am not sure that I will be in Covington on Friday.
Tho I did not have the pleasure of knowing your Dad, from what I know of his daughter, I know that he must have been a good-natured, kind-hearted man.
The next time we have occasion to visit, we will need to talk about 2 areas of common interest-- Mobile and B.R. Having grown up in downtown BR, the river always held great fascination for me.
If I do not get there, know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers on Friday. May God's Holy Spirit surround you with peace, and the joy of remembrance for someone who will live forever in your heart.
I look fwd to seeing you soon.
Yours in Christ always, Chan
