Warren H. Booth's Obituary
CSM. Warren Harding Booth Ret. passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Covington, LA. He was born on Friday, November 23, 1923 to Adolphine Beck and James Adolph Booth and was a life resident of St. Tammany Parish, with exception only to 20 years he spent in Military service. He served his Country honorably during WW II in the U.S. Army and was discharged in 1963 as Sergeant Major. He also retired from the State after 20 years of dedicated service to Southeast Louisiana Hospital in Mandeville where he was Maintenance Supervisor.
The beloved husband of the late Hazel Brooks Booth, he is survived by two daughters - Linda Booth Martin (Ivey J., Jr.) and Vera Booth-Matt (Leonard); one son - Christopher Alan Booth (Susan Hughes); two sisters - Winnie Biggio and Lillie Mae King; one brother - J. Earl Booth; five grandchildren - Lisa E. Vinyard, Carolynn G. Bourque, Victor Paul Vargo, Christopher Alan Booth, Jr. and Janet Lynn Sherwin and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother - Louis C. Sharp and one sister - Agnes Camaille.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 6 - 9:00 PM. Visitation will begin Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM.
Interment at the Allison Cemetery in Folsom, LA will immediately follow services.
