Walter Denson Miller Jr.'s Obituary
Walter Denson Miller, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 13, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54years, Dondra Revere Miller, his parents, Walter Denson Miller, Sr. and Doris Magee Miller, his brother, Kenneth Miller and his sister, Jane Holliday.
Walter is survived by his children, Shannon Gautreau (Rafe), Shelly Mott (Danny), Sharon Brewster and also survived by his seven grandchildren, Jack, Dalton, Jacob (Julia), Brynnen (Peyton), Landrey, McKenna and Lillian and his brother, Ernest Miller, brother-in-law, Doug Holliday and sister-in-law, Ann Miller, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a lifelong resident of Madisonville, LA and was of the catholic faith and was a faithful member of St Anselm Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his LSU Tigers. He found pleasure in fixing and teaching anyone how to fix anything.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 am at St Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St Mary Street, Madisonville, LA and the visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Theodore-Dendinger Cemetery in Madisonville, LA.
