Virginia Cooper Schell's Obituary
View Video Tribute Virginia Cooper Schell passed away on Friday, June 13, 2008. She was born in New Orleans on April 15, 1924 to the late Paul E. and Florence Thornhill Cooper and was a longtime resident of Metairie before moving to Covington three years ago. The beloved wife of the late David Neale Schell, Sr., she is survived by one daughter, Ginger S. Morvant; one son, Paul W. Schell and four grandchildren: Brian E. Morvant, Alexandra, Lauren and Elizabeth Schell. Her daughters-in-law, Elizabeth Salzer Schell and Elise LaFrance Schell and two sisters-in-law, Marguerite White Cooper and Ethelise LeMarie Cooper also survive her. She was preceded in death by her son, David N. Schell, Jr.; four brothers, A. Harold, William H., Shelby C. and Paul E. Cooper and one sister, Audrey C. Grady. Memorial services will be held privately by the family.
