Virginia Machauer Quave's Obituary
Virginia Machauer Quave passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of the late Victor L. Quave, Sr. Loving mother of Virginia Quave Burckel (Floyd), Victor L. Quave, Jr. (Mitzie) and Valerie Quave McGill (Hugh). Daughter of the late Florence Grace O’Rourke Machauer and Charles Adolph Machauer. Sister of the late Leo Malouse and Michael Machauer. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Quave was a graduate of Covington High, a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church, a founding member of the Ladies Progressive Club Abita Springs and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday morning beginning at 8:30 AM with service at 9:30 AM.
Interment will follow in Abita Springs Cemetery.
