Virginia "Ginger" Bondi's Obituary
Virginia “Ginger” Bondi, known by all as an incredibly powerful woman whose personality and presence filled any room she stepped into, passed away on November 13th, 2024. Born on January 3rd, 1942, she was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Among Ginger’s most significant accomplishments was raising her three children, whom she held as her pride and joy. She was definitely a “jack of all trades” and held varied positions. Ginger held many positions to support her family, such as dance instructor; interior designer and business owner; salesperson of magazines, glassware, women’s makeup and skincare, vitamins and supplements, and legal services. She was also a published author, motivational speaker and trainer for organizations and even created and designed plans for her dream house in Bush, Louisiana. But her overwhelming passion and joy was always dancing, and her talent was known by many. There wasn’t anything she couldn’t do.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Harry Carbo, Rhonda Walker, and Daryl Carbo; grandchildren, Corey Carbo, Andre’ Carbo, Zachary Loupe, and Garrett Loupe; and great-grandchildren, Lochlan Carbo. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband, Vincent Bondi, of 41 years, whom she sacrificially cared; and her parents, Bruce Sharp Bynum, Jr., and Dorothy Dean Hebert Bynum. With family consisting of both blood ties and bonds formed from the heart, Ginger’s reach was as far as it was wide, and she was cherished and known deeply by many. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
