Virgie Frances Bienvenu Wallace passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
Beloved wife of the late Wayne Paul Wallace. Mother of Wayne Clifton Wallace and Gregory Paul Wallace. Grandmother of Tammy Tiel, Torey, Brittney, Christopher and Ryan Wallace. Sister of Doris Sninchak, Ethel Bonfanti and the late Elma Rita Thonn.
Age 91 years. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 12 years.
A retired dietician from the Lafayette School Board. Past President and member of the Pink Ladies of Lafayette General Hospital and Past President and member the Lafayette Garden Club. Member of PEO, a Philanthropic Educational Organization. Volunteer at Southeast LA State Hospital and The Samaritan Center of Mandeville.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 12:00 PM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Saturday from 11:00 AM until service time.
A private interment in Hope Mausoleum at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to The Samaritan Center, 402 Gerard St., Mandeville, LA 70448.
