Violet Helena Gilhaus' Obituary
Violet Helena Gilhaus, 94 died on Sunday, September 27, 2015, at her residence in Covington, LA. Born, Tuesday, April 26, 1921 in Sand Coulee, MT to Henry James Busse and Naomi Tanner Busse.
Survived by her Sons - Robert L. Gilhaus (Denise), and Richard D. Gilhaus (Bonnie), Daughters - Deborah M. Gilhaus (Flip Jaeger), Scooter Lee Gilhaus, Jenny Gilhaus, and Nettie Gilhaus. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 14 GreatGrandchildren, and 1 GreatGreatGrandson.
She was predeceased by her Husband – James W. Gilhaus, Parents, Son - Michael D. Gilhaus, Daughter - Sandra J. McGehee and Sister - Marie Austin.
Violet served directly under the Provost Marshall in WW II working as a dental hygienist.. She considered it the best days of life and felt honored to serve her country.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 01, 2015 at Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15204 Hwy 1078 Folsom, LA 70437.
Visitation on Thursday, October 01, 2015 from 10:00 AM until service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Red Bluff Baptist Church Mission Fund or to The Wounded Warrior Project.
