Vinessa Joy Cefalu Chauffe passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2007.
Beloved mother of Cheryl C. Lacroix and her husband Michael, Janell C. West and her husband James, III and Mark Chauffe and his wife Vicki; grandmother to Jessica West, James West, IV, Dillon Lacroix, Logan Lacroix, Lindsey Cannon and Corey Cannon; sister to Kathy C. Briant and Dominick Cefalu. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Anthony “Pippie” Chauffe; her mother, Veronica Dorothy Mauroner Cefalu; her father, Earl Dominick Cefalu; and a brother, Earl Layrisson.
Age 69 years, a native of New Orleans, LA, she was a resident of Ponchatoula, LA for the past 4 years and a former resident of Metairie, LA. She was a retired secretary from Texaco Oil Company.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday November 8, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow mass at Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
