Victor "Vic" Felix Lane Sr.'s Obituary
Victor “Vic” Felix Lane Sr. passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born in New Orleans, LA on August 8, 1944 to Felix Lane and Marie Cecilia Davis Lane.
Most important to Vic was seeking and trusting God and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. His final instructions to his two sons were to seek God and always trust in God. He always spoke about the importance to seek forgiveness from God and to forgive others.
Vic enjoyed various activities throughout his life: woodworking, cooking, time with family and friends, and humbly giving to charities such as St. Jude and Children’s Hospital.
Vic is survived by his two sons, Victor Felix Lane Jr. and Ryan Paul Lane, grandchildren Brandon Lane and Bryan Lane, daughter-in-law Bonnie Lane, ex-wife Nora Lane, and many other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Andrew Lane, Charlie Lane, Carmelita Williams, Gladys Holliday, Norma Sharp Milstead, and ex-wife Patricia “Pat” Miller.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Lee Hill Baptist Church, 11007 Lee Settlement Road, Folsom, LA on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 NOON until service time. Bro. Ronnie Douglas will be officiating. Interment in Abita Springs Cemetery, 12th & St. John Street, Abita Springs, LA will follow the service.
