Vesta "Lucy" Burke Ehrlich's Obituary
Vesta “Lucy” Burke Ehrlich passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at her daughter’s home in Franlinton, LA. She was born in Little Rock, AR on November 28, 1938 to the late Albert G. Burke and Vesta Rosella Thompson Burke.
Lucy was married to her husband, the late John Edward Ehrlich, for 61 years. She was the mother of Suzette E. Harang (Michael), Cherie E. White (Cliff), and Charlotte E. Montalbano (Daniel). Lucy was the grandmother of Matthew and Tyler Harang, Rachael and Julia White, Wyatt and Ivan Montalbano (Nikol); great-grandmother of Emmett, Elijah and Kanan Montalbano. She was the sister of Jack Lloyd Burke (Mary), Nancy Grace Burke and June Burke Seeger (Gus).
She was a loving wife, mother and daughter. She believed in the Lord. She was grateful and thankful for a full and blessed life. She believed in compassion for others and animals. Lucy left her legacy in her daughters and a very deep love of her husband, John, and the beautiful life they built together.
We will miss you. Farewell for a season until we meet again.
Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
