Vernon Joseph Boudreaux, Sr. passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
Beloved husband of Ella J. Hebert Boudreaux. Father of Ray A. Boudreaux, Vernon Joseph Boudreaux, Jr., Michael F. Boudreaux and Pansy M. Boudreaux. Brother of Betty Benoit, Rita Benoit and the late Roy, Roland, Morgan Boudreaux, Doris Gueho and Uneeda Babin. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Marrero and belonged to the LA Carpenter Local #1846. An Army Air Corp veteran of WWII. Age 87 years. A native of Lafourche, LA and a resident of Madisonville, LA for the past 32 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 307 St. Mary St., Madisonville, LA 70447 on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation, AT THE CHURCH, from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Catherine’s Hospice, 2701 Hwy 51, Laplace, LA 70068.
