Dear Mildred, I lived next door to Vergie in the Davis house and often visited with Vergie. She taught me to make her wonderful pound cake which I made only a couple of weeks ago. It is so good. How dear of you to use a photo of Cousin Vergie that is just as I remembered her. I used to go her home often as Rene' nd I were childhood friends and it wasn't far from our home. She was always a gracious, precious person whom I never saw without a smile on her face. Much love to Mildred, Lilda, and the others who loved her. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven.
