Vennie Sharp Revere's Obituary
Vennie Sharp Revere passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009. She was born November 21, 1921 to the late Preston and Amelia Jenkins Sharp and has been a life resident of Bush, LA.
The beloved wife of J. Robert Revere, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert Revere, the father of her four children: Fleta Revere Glass, Sherwood, Jerry, and Ernest “Remi” Revere. she is also survived by her brother, Jack Dudley Sharp; 23 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers.
Mrs. Revere retired from the pediatric ward at Southeast Hospital and was a 26 year member at New Zion Baptist Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday March 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
A wake is scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th from 6-9:00 PM with visiting hours beginning Wednesday at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery.
