I'm glad Dad and I were able to be there to say goodbye to Aunt Velma. She was a kind and generous person to my family. I'll always remember staying at the Green Springs Motel while Dad looked for a house when we moved back to Louisiana. Having a pool was really neat and Janice would come over from Jim's Court to play I still have the fox stole she gave my mom and Lisa has the ring she gave to Mom. she was a special lady.
Phillip - so sorry for your loss. I wish we could be there with you all. I will never forget Aunt Velma and the last reunion at her place.

I just wanted to send Mrs Jameson's family my deepest sympathy. She was a lovely lady.She would have breakfast with my step-father(Tom Doby) at Mandy's resturant in Mandeville with Mr. Paul every sunday.She told some stories of her growing up down the bayou.And would talk french to me.I know she will be missed dearly.
