Velma Couvillion Gremillion was called to eternal rest on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the age of 96 years.
Daughter of the late Camille Couvillion and Bertha Lamoine Couvillion. Wife of the late Paul S. Gremillion. She was preceded in death by her daughter Lois M. Gremillion.
She will be sadly missed by her children Joyce Jemison, Janie Folse, Burton Gremillion, Norris Gremillion and Daughter-in-law Patsy Raymond Gremillion. She leaves to mourn 7 Grandchildren; Maurice “Skip” and Yvette Jemison, David and Ann Jemison, Keith and Lori Gremillion, Paul and Andy Gremillion, Glen Gremillion, Jason And Kathy Fontenelle, Lance and Cindy Pechon. Also survived by 10 Great-grandchildren; Nicole Siverl, Jarod Jemison, Christine and Adrian Jemison, Garrett and Jordan Gremillion, Amelie and Paul Joseph Gremillion, Jr., Trent and Marissa Fontenelle.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 2:00 PM from St. Joseph Abbey 75376 River Rd., Covington, LA 70435.
Interment in St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery. Visitation on Tuesday at the church from 12:30 PM until service time.
