Troy Mathew Hicks' Obituary
Troy Mathew Hicks passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010.
Beloved son of Robert B. Hicks, Sr. and Shirley Godfrey Hicks; brother to Robear Hicks and his wife Katie, Brent Hicks and his wife Stacy; uncle to Isabella and Ezra Hicks; nephew to Floyd and Robin Hicks; cousin of Adam Hicks, Shelly Hicks Edney and Laurie Hicks. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd B. Hicks, Sr., Elvire Ducote Hicks, Alfred Pickard Godfrey and Ruby Ella Bush Godfrey.
Age 40 years, he was born in New Orleans, lived most of his life in Slidell and lived the last five years in the Covington/Mandeville area. He graduated from Pearl River High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He was employed as a salesman with Gulf Coast Office Products in New Orleans.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 7:30 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Wednesday will begin at 6:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, TX 75013.
