Treddis Alan Russell's Obituary
Treddis Alan Russell was born on September 28, 1987, in Los Angeles, California to Rene Taylor and Treddis E. Russell. During Treddis’ early years he played the drums in his childhood church which helped fuel what would be a life long passion for the musical arts. His mothers house was often used as a studio where he and his friends would gather to compose record and perform. In 2010 Treddis pursued his passion further and earned his Associate's degree in Musical Engineering from the Los Angeles film school. It was during his time there that he met his future wife, Pharren Perkins.
At the age of 24, Treddis relocated to Covington, Louisiana where he embarked on a new journey as a carpenter and construction worker, apprenticing under his father-in-law, Carl Perkins. While still maintaining his love for music, Treddis contributed to numerous construction projects and developments in Covington and the surrounding areas over the years. In his final months, he joined the staff at Christwood Retirement Community, where he quickly became a cherished team member and formed lasting friendships.
Treddis is survived by his loving wife, Pharren Perkins Russell, his daughter Naila Russell, and his sons, Andrew and Arleaux Russell. He is also survived by his parents, Rene Taylor and Treddis E. Russell, his grandmother Paulette Bowers, as well as his siblings, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his wonderful lifelong friends.
Treddis' radiant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
