I am deeply saddened by the news of Tracy’s death.
Tracy was a true inspiration to a lot of young tech guys in the field over the years. He inspired us all to learn more simply by being around his intelligence.
He will be greatly missed.

Tracy was a dear friend and he will be sorely missed. I had the pleasure of seeing him at the wedding in Greenville, SC a few weeks ago and he told me about riding to the restaurant on the Mariah with his son and how much he enjoyed it. I bought a Mariah a few years ago after riding on Tracy's at Lake Keowee and we always had a great time talking about our boats.

I was so sorry to hear about Tracy's passing last week. I worked with Tracy when I was with Lucent Technologies and he was my customer at NewSouth Communications. We remained friends long after we both moved on to other things. Tracy was a great friend and while we didn't talk all the time, I've talked to him at least once a year for the last 8 years and we always found it easy to catch up. I will miss my friend.
Tracy was and has always been like a brother to me. He was my closest friend since we were both ten years old. He was a kind, caring, loving man who cared deeply for his family, friends and all those he knew in his life. He is deeply missed and mourned by me and all that knew him. Please know that I will always be available for you Allison, and all of your children, for any support you may ever need.
Tracy was a great influence on me during the 5 years that I worked for him at NewSouth. He taught me to walk softer when confronting people and issues. And to stay aware of their feelings. He had a heart that extended to try and care for everyone around him. He was always concerned when anyone was having problems, and was especially caring of the young people he was able to be involved with. He always spoke of how they reminded him of his own children and how he wanted to be able to help them be successful as he wanted to help his own children be successful. Tracy was a friend to everyone and a father figure to everyone he touched. I will miss him and keep him in my prayers every Sunday. You are all in my thoughts and prayers in this very sad time.

I was shocked to see this morning's paper as you have been on my mind all week. I am saddened by this and remember when we were young raising our children together.
