Tommy Frickey's Obituary
Tommy Frickey age 80, of Tylertown, Mississippi passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, May 6, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was born on December 30, 1940 in Lafitte, Louisiana to John Frickey and Mary Jane Matherne Frickey.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Lynell( Nell) Gilbert Frickey, his children Cherie Frickey Pete ( Hawk), Tony Frickey (Susan), and Missy Frickey Jaeger (Joey), 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Tommy spent most of his life living in Venice, Louisiana, most recently a resident of Tylertown.
He proudly served 4 years in United States Navy. After, being honorably discharged he worked many years in the Seafood Industry as well as many years at Chevron as a dispatcher. Tommy retired from Chevron and worked several different jobs in retirement, ranging from Property Management to Car Salesman to Peanut Picker. There wasn’t a job he couldn’t do or wouldn’t do. Tommy enjoyed his free time being a crafty woodworker, cruising the beach in his jeep with Nell, and especially spending time doing anything with his children and grandchildren. Tommy was witty, energetic, and caring man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life and will be sharing that information with family and friends very soon.
