It was a honor to have known Mr. Thomas. I can't think of a time i ever say him without that big smile on his face. He will be deeply missed.
I worked at the Sheriff's Office in Slidell and saw Mr. Wood on a regular basis. He always had a smile on his face and I looked forward to seeing him come in. He & I always talked about our grandkids. He was a wonderful, caring, friendly person. God bless his family.

I met Thomas, the first time, at John Slidell Park. He told me then, he would like to adopt Ashley. Little did we know several years later, Ashley and Shantell would be married. He made a difference in our lives. He was a father figure and friend to Ashley. So many fond memories...Ball games, Crawfish Boils at Easter, Chelsie's and Cody's birthday party around the pool.....Thank you for the gift of including me in your extended family and the treasure of Thomas' friendship....He was greatly loved and will be very much missed.
